At the VicRoads “Warrandyte Bridge upgrade” meeting held last Thursday, 14 July, attendees were given the opportunity to provide feedback in writing to VicRoads through completion of a form that was distributed at the meeting.
Whilst the event was well attended, there are many members of the Warrandyte community who will be effected by the proposed bridge and associated road works and have not yet expressed their views.
A summary of the information that VicRoads has made available on the proposed works is available HERE.
Importantly, VicRoads has also produced an online engagement process, open for you to “have your say”. We encourage you to share your comments on the interactive MAP and/or via the VicRoads online SURVEY which will be open for two weeks until Monday October 3. VicRoads will use your feedback and ideas to further refine the scope of the project and will share the findings at a community Bridge Forum hosted by the Warrandyte Community Association on Thursday 13 October at the Warrandyte Community Church.
Don’t be silent on this Warrandyte – construction companies will be invited to tender for these major and permanent capital works in December, and it is vitally important that they serve the best interests of the Warrandyte community.
