Bev Hanson, a foundation member of the Association, is one of our living Warrandyte treasures, and the publication of her story is long overdue.
We feel that Bev’s unstinting and often unsung contribution to the preservation and enhancement of our town’s beautiful natural environment needs to be recorded, as does her work throughout greater Melbourne.
Hopefully, this illustrated volume will inspire future generations to follow in Bev’s footsteps: to promote naturalistic native garden landscaping and to care for and nurture the very special place that is Warrandyte, both for those who live here, and for the inspiration and enjoyment of the wider Melbourne community.
